LILY SON

Emotion: an instinctive state of mind deriving from one’s feelings, relationships, or mood. Communication: a process by which information is exchanged without prejudice or doubt I have centered on the definitions of these two words both objectively and subjectively in my work. During the process I have been communicating with my own emotions, and I want my work to have the power to express and communicate with the viewers.

감정; 어떤 현상이나 일에 대하여 일어나는 마음이나 느끼는 기분. 소통; 막히지 아니하고 잘 통하며, 뜻이 서로 통하여 오해가 없음. 이 두가지 개념의 사전적이면서 동시에 직관적인 의미를 가지고 작업에 다가갔다. 다가가고 있는 순간에도 나는 스스로 나의 감정과 소통하고 있었고, 동시에 이 작품이 감상자와의 소통을 갈구하는 힘을 갖길 원한다.
